Summary: Your donation – however big or small – will go towards maintaining NCBI’s range of services to over 16,500 blind and visually impaired people.

NCBI is a not-for-profit charitable organisation offering support and services nationwide to those experiencing difficulties with their eyesight. Your donation, however big or small, will allow NCBI innovate and improve in a range of areas, including: emotional support, low vision services, mobility training, Braille and audio book libraries, nationwide resource centres, access and awareness campaigns and many other day-to-day activities of learning to cope with sight loss.

How you can make a donation

  • Online – using mycharity.ie secure online payment system
  • By phone – call 1850 33 43 53 to make a credit card donation
  • By post – send a cheque or postal order with your details to Donations Secretary, NCBI, Whitworth Road, Drumcondra, Dublin 9.

Tax benefits

Did you know that NCBI is eligible for tax relief on any donation over €250?
This means that NCBI can claim an additional €62 on a donation of €250 from an individual on the 20% tax band and an additional €180 on the 42% tax band. All you have to do is download and complete a CHY2 form
