The 2011 Flora Women's Mini Marathon was the most successful yet, with more than 40,000 women taking part and raising funds for a huge number of charities, in the world's biggest women's sporting event. Thanks to everyone who took part in last year’s Flora Women’s Mini Marathon on behalf of NCBI. We look forward to you, your families and friends helping us again in 2012 to support our crucial services for people who are blind or vision impaired.
Become part of NCBI’s Flora Mini Marathon team today by following these 3 easy steps:
It is important to note that the closing date in the Evening Herald is 20th April 2012 or when maximum numbers are reached as this run is the biggest all-women’s event of its kind in the world. As outlined above, to guarantee a race number and finisher’s medal each participant must register for the Flora Mini Marathon by filling in the official Entry Form which will appear in the Evening Herald every Wednesday and Saturday from Wednesday 22nd February 2012 or online at www.florawomensminimarathon.ie.
Once you have registered for the Flora Women’s Mini Marathon with the Evening Herald and have also registered with NCBI you will then be able to receive your special NCBI Sun Visor and Tee-shirt. These will be given to you on the day of the race (Mon 4th June) where Grainne and the NCBI fundraising team will be outside St Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre at 2pm to greet you and your friends.
Let's make the 2012 Flora Women's Mini Marathon a fundraising success for NCBI!!!
