New Online Library Catalogue

NCBI’s new online library catalogue is now live. The catalogue is a great development for the library service and gives people the opportunity to search for books, check their account and hold titles and fulfils all the functions of a traditional online library catalogue.
“We have been working on this online catalogue for some time now so it’s very exciting to see it live,” said Library and Media Centre Manager Lina Kouzi. “It brings NCBI’s Braille, audio and large print library in line with all other libraries around the country and ensures greater online access to our vast catalogue. We have tweaked the system to make sure that it is fully accessible to people using adaptive technology. Our traditional service, which is done over the phone and through the post, will of course continue,” continued Lina.
