NCBI Charity Shops say Goodbye Frank

We are all missing Frank King, who retired early this year. He was the longest serving member of staff in the NCBI Charity Shops, starting out as our first paid manager in Mary St., moving on to the Thomas St. shop in Dublin, thence to the position of Area Manager. More recently he was Shop Development Manager and Area Supervisor.

Frank who was always a fair and concerned manager got a good send off in Naas, comprising a splendid meal and drinks and chat into the small hours in Lawlors’ Hotel. We all had a great time, and Fiona Somers’ singing was a high spot. Barry presented Frank with a handsome watch and I got one too, although I’m not retiring just yet! We all join in wishing Frank a long and happy retirement.
