Irish Blind Golfers win Celtic Cup

The Irish Blind Golf team put in a good performance at the British Open Blind Golf Championships at Hamilton, Scotland last year. Following this, the Northern Ireland Blind Golf Society invited the southern players to form an all-Ireland team to play Scotland in the Celtic Cup. The match was won by Ireland at Masseerene Golf Club neat Antrim town. The Celtic Cup will be played in Scotland this year and hosted by the Irish Society in the Republic in 2011.
