Update from Irish Blind Sports

Archery — 5-week course currently underway at the IWA gym at Clontarf.
Jim hopes to continue this activity in the Autumn. Contact Jim Conroy on

Canoeing — Paddling in August. Instruction on river safety as well as
canoe techniques. This is for older teens (15 years up) and adults and will
cater for a maximum of 12 places so book your place now.

Walking — Tuesday evenings each week and some Saturdays. Check the
Irish Blind Sports website or contact: michael.lavin@vicsireland.org

Football — 27th August in Blanchardstown, Dublin. Time and directions
on website shortly. Training session will be one hour of coaching and two
hours of matches against invited local teams. Information: contact Warren

Lawn Bowling — Thursday evening at 6pm on 25th August at Irene

Bowling Club, Drumcondra – ask for Eddie Coogan.

Climbing Wall — Friday 26th Aug. at UCD from 6.30-8.30pm. There are
only nine places available, book with IBS before 20th August.

Angling — An introduction to angling day in conjunction with Inland Fisheries Ireland, at a purpose-built angling venue. Learn the basics of
