Progress stalled on €4 million eye-screening programme as 1 person with diabetes goes blind each week
Eighteen months after the HSE announced the development of a €4 million national eye-screening programme to identify sight-threatening diabetic retinopathy, little progress has been made and patients are now unlikely to be seen under the programme until mid 2013.
